My opinion on the government is the negative impact they have greatly put on the military these past years. I'm from 3 generations of military so I get all the infromation of active duty military in the mail, email what have you. They are not happy with the cuts, with the medicare and just puts a lot of unnecessary stress on struggling military families.
By knowing this perspective my assumption (although not fact) I believe the military will drop the government when the civilians do.
Thank you for clarifying.
I just find it difficult to believe that the military as a whole would side against the rest of the government. Who would they revolt against? Only the federal government? The entire congress? The federal, state, and local governments? The executive branch? I could understand that many members of the military would revolt if this happened, but surely there would be those who are still loyal to the government, yes? Wouldn't they be in control of most of the weapons?
