Yes, there are problems with the portrayal of men in a lot of video games as well. But a common occurrence is men talking about their problems only when women do and trying to talk over them as well.
My personal perspective on this it's heavily exaggerated using something like the mainstream media as a basis. I find this pretty silly concerning the entire mainstream media, exaggerates, adverties and misrepresents every goddamn race/stereotype under the sun. Even as a white guy, I'm either a, pothead, a business man, a player, or a douche.
