I feel for the guy but feminism IS a big deal. And she only got that money because she was bullied by men (because lets face it most internet trolls are). She might have got the project funded without it, but I doubt by much.
It's comparing the case of one man vs the case of every woman. Using Anita as the example in this case is fucking dumb. Internet trolls are seeing her as the "face of feminism" and so are focusing on her, which is wrong.
