It is exactly this. There is simply no other game like maplestory out there, and even if there's one or 2, saddly maplestory is undeniably the best of its kind (which doesn't mean it is good). If you like the kind of games like maplestory, you'd better suck it because maplestory is all there is. That is why Nexon does whatever it wants with the game and players, because chances are alot lower for people to leave than if there was a direct competitor, That's also why MS has lasted for almost 10 years.
