Not so revealed potential

Describe the problem. Be as specific as possible!:

Revealing potential with a magnifying lens will show potential, but will not remove the "unrevealed" status of the item.

Not sure what the exact steps are to do this, I was just fusing sneakers, and revealed the hidden pot with mags.

IIRC, you have to use another mag to reveal the bonus, I've had that happen too, its a nice little thing when it happens.
