Finally saw the episode for myself after being spoiled 800x on Tumblr.

And I HIGHLY AGREE that the episode was horribly rushed. It would have been so much better as a two-parter, with the first part of the plot being an episode and a half long, leading up to the alicorn princess part (which I personally thought was nice but should have been handled a lot better).

Which exactly bothers me as towards the fact with the Season 2 Finale, it wasn't at all rushed, and nothing major was left out. Damn budget.
It would have been better as a two-parter, big time. THE SONGS.
