Oda doesn't kill off major characters too often but that looked pretty definitive. I do wonder about what Aokiji's motives and plans are, though. He's like Smoker and Tashigi in that all of them are significantly more morally righteous than most other Marines, so I wonder how he's connected to the Underworld. Oda never ceases to amaze with his suspenseful storytelling.

I wonder when they'll reveal what Jewelry Bonney's connection to the upper echelons is, too.
