You should probably try one using a mouse, which defeats both. Motion control is garbage at the moment and is not stable enough to be reliable.

The only reason the Wii didn't get ports of most major things during it's lifespan is because the hardware would have required the game to be rebuilt from the ground up, and probably wouldn't be as good a game as the PC/360/ps3 version anyway. (I'm thinking of, for example, dead rising: Chop till you drop). Wii U isn't because... Idk, it hasn't sold quite well enough yet? That's the bs publishers are going with, right?
I'm not sure if you have tried using the Wii controller but it's quite pathetic when the previous generation controller is just overall better. Can't speak for the wii u however.
