I also fail to understand how it's making anything better. One tiny country making simple internet restrictions isn't going to change a thing worldwide. Even if the whole porn industry went down, then I'm pretty sure those women with poor sosiological status would end up as prostitutes or something else worse than nude videos.
The Icelandic government is only responsible for protecting Iceland's citizens, not for improving the world.
They don't want Icelandic boys watching porn and getting wrong ideas about what women enjoy, and then practicing what they've learned on their Icelandic girlfriends. Or vice versa, I suppose.
