Okay, and you believe that Tyler would not have done it if it was functionally useless I'm assuming?
So we've got a couple of options to make sense of this.
First, Tyler simply didn't do it on purpose. I would tend to doubt this one simply due to the magnitude that Girasol was talking about.
Second, you could be overestimating him and he just did something fucking stupid and got banned because of it. That's certainly not out of the question.
Finally, he could have found a way to make it not useless. I don't know how the glitch works in the first place so... *shrug*. There's a certain amount of overlap between this one and the second one in that he could have thought it was a good idea or that he could make it work... and it wasn't/didn't.
