You also have to remember what survivability a class have, is it melee or ranged, does it have high crit or not, can it manage to survive 1/1 and so on. Damage charts only show how much damage you can do if you were given the chance to hit a dummy target with 0% def that would never attack you. And Afaik mercedes have the best ignore def skill after unlimited patch so that gives an advantage aswell. I mean just look at mechanic, probably one of the most annoying jobs to play at most bosses, you get toyed with so much, this just drops your damage by 50% already if not more.
not to mention that magnus and root abyss bosses make it quite hard to even get into siege mode, poor mechs.
