However, if you hardly had a decent equip to your name before hackers came and ruined the "economy" you simply don't care and you will be happy about finally being able to buy some decent gear.

The second paragraph is nothing new in MapleStory, you should expect your items to lose value as new items are introduced. You shouldn't be subject to that loss due to hackers though. But again, not a statement on the economics as much as an indictment on hackers. Not even touching the dupers stuff, not interested on derailing or rehashing something unrelated and really axe-grindy, didn't think so in the other thread but I can see the pattern now.
And that final statement was probably the complete opposite of what I was searching for, I'm looking for whole economic impact, not personal devaluation. I know about that, I lost money in CFs when they dropped through the floor.
1m (price in mesos) gear which only an upper-tier boss drops at a very rare rate is like giving mansions to thousands of able-bodied and young unemployed poor people in real life with no taxes, with no need to pay mortgage. Who would this be economically good for other than those unemployed people? Let's not forget that the employed upper class people who previously own a mansion still have to keep paying their property taxes and still have to pay their mortgages, and now since there's more responsibility for city, state, and federal governments to offer services to these newly-acquired mansions those upper-class employed citizens would have to pay much higher taxes and much higher mortgages, cost of living becomes much higher and incomes would not increase. Those upper-class citizens are now more like middle class, and probably would eventually be forced to move out of their spiffy mansions. Does this seem like economical stability to you guys? Because it does not to me.
edit: And I don't have an axe to grind with anyone when I pretty much already know how legit/illegit quite a few people on SP are. Honestly, I explained my intentions on the thread that SaptaZapta made. It was a friendly discussion save for a few people being offended when they didn't have to post or vote in the first place, even though the poll turning out public was a mistake. I am friends with quite a few ex-hackers in-game and tons of people who use hacked gear and/or glitch. Just because I don't agree with someone doesn't mean I'm out to vilify them and we cannot come to a reasonable understanding.
