It depresses me when I think of the money I spent on NX before I learned how to actually spend it 'efficiently' - that is, in a way so that I can actually potentially get a return out of it. Especially when a lot of that NX was spent on gear that was considered somewhat "pro" at the time, and was rendered pretty much garbage after Big Bang / whatever.
Now? I don't buy it for the same reasons I used to (that is, converting it to mesos - buying cash shop boxes and selling the expiring NX, for example), because I can finally afford to buy a large amount of NX with the mesos I've learned to make ingame. But alas I still spend; there aren't enough legit sellers (that I personally know) to keep up with what I want to do, and taking that 10 minute walk to Walgreens and spend $25 bucks out of my food money seems a lot more convenient at times.
