Either way the 660 is a lot better than a 7850. Kepler architecture is amazing.
I've had three Radeon cards and zero issues with any games I've played. Anecdotal evidence means nothing.
Benchmarks also depend on what you're likely to be doing with your graphics card. The best way to choose is to look at benchmarks for the games you play.
