The game survived just fine while maintaining huge profitability even without gach, cubes, nebulites, scissors, 2x cards, Red Leaf High, and so on and so forth. The quality of content was much the same too, minus the music (Which many people believe has gotten a bit better since the old days).

Quote:Wards and Shield ScrollsMore pay to win crap. I know the pay to win philosophy isn't EVER going away, but items like these/cubes are what ruin the game for me. Pam's Song was the one that really got me, though. You want HOW much? Over twenty bucks? HAHAHAHAHA.

Quote:More perma optionsLess money to be made, I'm assuming. I LOVED being able to purchase items that I felt I'd actually be able to KEEP (versus that "rental" feeling of the 90-day clothing), but a constant revenue stream tends to be better than a one-time purchase that doesn't cost all that much more. Hence why console makers will sell you a system at near-loss, and then charge you absurd prices for the games. ($50+ For CoD on Vita, which bombed, if I remember)
Quote:Permanent store permitsThis would be great, and it would definitely convince me to work the market a little more. Permits are dirt cheap in comparison to other CS items as it is, so I don't see how they'd stand to lose much by offering permanent renditions.
