This is not acceptable to me or anyone else who has been shafted time and time again by staggered revamps. We watch some select classes become vastly more powerful while we fall farther and farther behind. This time it's almost worse. Ever since Tempest with the surprise release of Hypers with Kaiser, Explorer hypers have been danging just out of reach. We've seen them in KMS and it's absolutely everything we've been asking for for months! Only now it's being pushed back farther and farther for new content we're simply not equipped to enjoy like Root Abyss and Magnus because it wasn't designed with pre-Hyper classes in mind.
I have always hated the staggered revision process of classes because it inevitably leaves any class not recently revised severely underpowered.
If you play one of the new classes, you probably don't get it. I've been preparing for BM hypers for literally months. I have a stock pile of 100k NX just waiting to cube when I finally get a secondary weapon. I will finally be on par with Mercedes. My mobbing damage will quadruple and I'll be able to solo v2 Empress instructors. My bossing damage will double and I'll be damn near hitting damage cap before split damage and will far exceed it with Terms and Conditions which will open Normal Mode Magnus to me.
While Root Abyss is fantastic content and under any other situation I would be happily enjoying it, it doesn't compare with Hypers for Explorers and Resistance because by giving it to us out of order, we aren't capable of fully participating. This patch, which seems a rehash of old content mixed with maybe 2 new events, is nearly pointless and not at all a motivation for me to play except 10minutes a day at RLH for totems and to get the last 10 lvls on my MM. Big whoopiedie do.
This rant is not entirely directed at you and mostly consists of me venting a great deal of frustration.
It has nothing to do with their choice. They want to release all classes, 3 of them don't have any existing data related to hypers. Thus hypers are delayed. It makes sense, it just isn't sensible.
Trust me i agree with you. We aren't getting hypers, and we aren't getting secondary weapons or empress shoulderpads either, which are equally appealing to players who want to take advantage of the high level content they have provided recently. The latter two are literally overdue at this point.
Needless to say there were better options for a patch like this to get people to play (read: pay) seriously for the now near month extension to the MS hiatus anyone with a high level class without hypers is having right now.

God forbid we ruin your foruming experience with posts you're choosing to read, you f'uck.

Hell, a part from Heroes and Novans it hasn't even been 6 months since the hyper skills got all released and it is always around 6 month wait before we get content from KMS (Root Abyss doesn't count) so people need to learn to wait.
Content localization is ~3-3.5 months since last year with exclusives and whatnot creating slight delays that are compensated by their rolling out regular content at an unexpected rate (hypers with kaiser). Thanks for playing.
