Honestly, I just type how words come to mind. I used to take shortcuts like that, but having to learn how to type Japanese at a pace to keep up with native speakers kind of makes it so anything I think comes out of my keyboard the same way it would come out of my mouth. Sadly, things still sound better in my head than in print, as usual. D:


Unfortunately, this also makes typos the bane of my existence.
