It happens at all levels of play sadly, i've been playing exclusively AR lately and the experience is a lot better for me.
And yea, anti-mage is too reliant on getting a quick bfury, can hurt if you don't get it.
On another note, had a game where i was MVP on my team with Jakiro. We were trilaning and somehow i ended up with the highest K
:A AND highest XPM by simply roaming and ganking 24/7.
End score for me was: 17-5-32
I was murdering their drow pretty badly too with necronomicon + liquid fire, allowed me to beat her in 1v1 due to her lack of farm from our constant pushes.
Game ended with dark seer vaccuming everyone into my ult and icepath. Everyone ded.
Was fun, jakiro is one of my favourite supports.
Just checked the game again, i also had highest GPM, what the pineapple.
Like seriously, it doesn't make sense, i was supporting ursa in a trilane.
Most of my last hits came from when we were pushing and i used AOE to push.
