If true...
How about they do it the other way round?
First give us the high level content. Show us new areas with new mobs we can barely hit. Give us bosses that we can't kill, and not just because they have 9000 different ways to 1hko (oh, and block hacks while you're at it). Give us fifth job that goes 170-200, so we can taste the new skills and they can balance them (lol).
Then you can raise the max level.
Doing this thing piecemeal, giving some jobs their fifth advancement long before other jobs get it, gives them an unfair advantage in the race to 250.
And yeah, I do hope they keep a copy of the old Rankings (and oh yeah, they do need to fix them first...). Those people who made 200 back when it was a real challenge, don't deserve to have their achievement totally wiped out.
Just a copypasta from Maplesea.
Note: MrYandao/Jessbunny = Equivalent of FangBlade/Tiger in Maplesea

If the likes of MrYandao and Jessbunny are going to be wiped off the charts, this game is going to the dogs. For many of us, they represented that all is still not lost in Maplesea. Hallmarks of the old guards, sheer willpower and perseverance, were still up there to inspire us, to let us emulate such examples, and to be immortalised in the awesome history of the Old Maplesea. The very virtue of hope was still there, like a morning star sparkling in the chaotic night of the Maplesea landscape.
Honestly people, do you really wish for monetarists like Shang being exhalted in the new rankings for 250? To forget who we were, what we were and the very reasons of our existence in-game?
We are losing a reason and a history cornerstone to the various happenings, escapades and memories that was 2005-2007, represented by the harsh battles then between the finest of the finest players, which were immortalised in the ranking. Yet, I still see many players here being flippant about it. Most probably they're newfags who have never seen or tasted the bustling chaos of Ch1 Perion or the Sotong Wars. They probably don't care about this legacy or gift of heritage left behind either.
Removing this cornerstone, in a good note, is the best addiction-breaker Nexon will have given me.
Thank you.
