To summarize: time sink.
Nexon realized that they were digging a hole with all of the new classes, and had to come up with another shotgun approach to keeping people playing this game (and subsequently keep their revenue flowing), in lieu of substantial content. I mean, new classes and a higher level cap does not a good game make.
They should have taken a cue from the likes of Blizzard, etc. and realized that the more new classes you make, the harder balancing is going to be. Not to mention with a potential 5th job, balancing is just all downhill from here.
To everyone complaining about rankings: if all you care about is your ranking, maybe you're playing this game for the wrong reasons. Is that all this is about? Fame and recognition, perceived or otherwise? If anything, it should be for your own satisfaction, knowing that you got to level ___ in a legitimate fashion. Hackers shouldn't diminish that feeling.
One more thing in terms of better content: heaven forbid Nexon actually, you know, revamp questing in this game, which has long been overdue for being reorganized. More quest chains? Quest-only exclusive rewards? Half-decent rewards? Lackluster EXP (save for some of the more recent quests) and the "Quest Specialist" medal doesn't cut it anymore. Executed properly, it could be an enjoyable time sink.
