Nope! Cygnus Knights were meant to be a sampling of a character up to, but not surpassing 4th Job. Now with a 5th Job, you can sample up to level 200 and then decide if you want to make another character, presumably a godly revamped Bucc and take it all the way to 250! Whee!
2nd Note: My brother, who got to level 200 and got his NPC, just dilly-dallies around chatting. He will be disappointed if he loses his statue.
