I'm assuming they're using the root 뇌 as reference to thunder (뇌성
, but the 2nd characters are just... irrelevant? I figure it's some sort of arcane/outdated ranking system (like apprentice/journeyman/master), but I have no clue what it would refer to. My parents have no clue either.
