I could do von bon and pierre when i woke up a few hours ago and that was easily less than 24 hours since my last fight with them. There seems to be people who just can't go in for some reason, whether it's the system or it's them just not having the conditions met.
All of RA seems to be really good about telling you exactly what is preventing your entry though. It'll tell you all the members of your party that don't have keys, or the members who've already killed that day. Much better than a vague ass "you can't go in" message.
