You're diving into hacker territory which is not a great argument. I don't think I even mentioned anything about Wonder Guard. :|
You guys are super fixated on Gyarados being overpowered but you're also missing the point that a lot of other Pokemon who have unfortunate typing will also incrementally become powerful also. Also, examples are just examples. I'm not making the game so the examples I give are simply what -I- would like to see, not necessarily reflecting what will actually happen in the game.
