IsaacGS Wrote:ok, it may be boring for 16x, but if you're fighting it on equal terms (Let's say a party of 9x) then it's a far sight more interesting. Of course it's boring if you kill it in 30 seconds. Geist is moving around, teleporting, attacking, when you pin it, he does super def up to escape... you actually have to leave the ground to keep track of it. You can't really criticize it when you're way higher than it. That's like going into Ludi PQ in tespia and going "LOLZ WHY EVERYONE HATE ON ALISHAR HE SO EASY".
No, it's actually just annoying when it's fought with a platypus party. I've done it plenty of times. It's like, Hay guise, let's chase this monster around the map. LOL! It's still not interesting. It's just...boring. Its damage is pathetic, the map allows you to practically hide in the thorns all battle if you need and all he does is prolong the battle by telespamming or hiding in Super Def and flying away. Sweet muffins, GENIUS. You guys shouldn't boost Nexon America's ego with their crap boss. Bigfoot is the only decent one they've made, besides the fact it's way too easy to pin.

Yeah, there is. This game could easily make much better boss battles that actually require teamwork and/or focus. Like having to devote an attacker or entire party to activating different switches (or whatever) to allow the other members to be able to damage parts of the boss. Or like have a fast or hard-to-find monster appear that protects the main boss until it's killed. I dunno, add things into bosses that are creative, require planning and don't make the battle boring/annoying/draggy. Something that lets you still do something, instead of just having to sit there waiting for Super Def/pointless telespamming.

Horntail and probably Pink Been (can't say, since I haven't fought it) are the closest this game has ever got to interesting and challenging bosses. Maybe some of the new JMS ones, too, I haven't seen 'em all yet. Stop praising garbage like Geist just because it's different.

Edit: HECK YES @ Cyanne's underwater idea. See now that's the kind of crap we need.
