I know my girlfriend loved her Wind Archer, and when Mercedes came out, she loved it. But in this case, I'd like there to be a reason to play a level 200 Wind Archer, and a reason to play a level 200 Mercedes. As in, each class having its own perks.
Marksmen are quite different from the other archers (mainly because of the lack of Hurricane), yet Bowmaster, Wind Archer, Wild Hunter, and Mercedes are basically the same thing, only rising the mobility of their skills on each. In this case I'd agree with many people's suggestion to stop giving every goddamn archer a Hurricane skill.
Back in the day it was pretty simple. You chose Xbowmen for big numbers and snipe, and you chose Bowmen for quicker attacks and Hurricane. It worked, there was a point where they were pretty balanced, and people couldn't agree which one was better. Each had its own perk.
In the same way, one should be appealed to Wild Hunters for the whole monster taming thing, to Wind Archers for the whole wind-skills theme, Mercedes for their swift dual-blade-like madness, and you get the drift. But currently it's just: ehmagherd hurricane dps.
I'm not even asking for game balance, I know that's impossible in a game like Maple Story, where new jobs are gods. I'm just asking for unique gameplay for each class, and not have copypasta skills. Anglic Buster, Luminous and Kaiser did great in this aspect, we can hope that if they remake Cygnus Knights, we'll get something just as unique and fun.
