I mean, some connections to Magatia are already obvious in the present Crimsonwood. "The Alchemist" person who's mentioned, for example. His resemblance to the Black Magician seems to be more than a coincidence now. I was assuming they were just saying to pay attention to it for this reason (IE, Magatia quests reinforcing Crimsonwood's storyline), but I guess direct references are still possible.
