Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
There's always something that could happen, there's always that 1% chance that the body doesn't react to the hormones well. Like if the woman forgets to take her pill one day, that ups the chances of her being able to get pregnant. A woman CAN get pregnant even if she's on birth control but it's highly unlikely that she will IF she's using it correctly(taking it everyday).
