Riot may have not designed ARAM, but they control it. Not to mention they adjusted it to make it "better" (but actually worse). Riot should just focus on keeping SR under control since they can barely maintain three game modes, and they could barely handle two modes before Dominion.
Aram is a halfbaked game mode that came from the community and was made taking into consideration that it could only be played in Custom games. I love to see what riot has in mind besides the matchmaking.
As much as I'd love to see queues for ARAM, I don't trust Riot because they're the queens of "we'll take 5eva to implement something that isn't ready to be implemented only to forget it exists." Hell, even TT queues are "broken." I have 8 wins, 14 losses. Am constantly paired with players with similar win-rates (and presumably loss rates) and pitted against players with wins in the hundreds. One person I just finished a game with, had a 254-230 win-loss (spoiler alert: we lost. My team had one person with over 100 wins, the opposing team all had wins in the upper 200s-- yes I am aware that wins do not necessarily correlate with skill, however that's poor matchmaking right there). I get that not a lot of people play at owl hours, but the matchmaker shouldn't put me against players who will smash my team for the sake of a match.
