How do the bosses scale exactly? His attacks hit me for anywhere between 12k and 18k, which would kill a lot of classes in one hit.

That's why I avoided Velderoth entirely, because of his bullshit attacks. If I don't kill him fast enough, he would sometimes hit me for 7-8k and/or use an attack to hit for 20k.
