I've played every class available, none of them are "hard". This game isn't hard. When's the last time someone went to a boss and said "WHOA, THAT WAS HARD!!"? It's always "OMG LAG t_t". Lag = difficulty..? Seems to be the main factor of difficulty in MS for most people.
I think Sean pretty well hit the nail on the head. And as a matter of fact, I don't think I've ever heard someone describe Maple Story as "hard" or "difficult." Getting 4th job and higher isn't hard, it's just way time consuming. There's a big difference in the two. Lagging makes things REALLY frustrating, not hard. Especially when you're 4th on a Zhelm looting list, you then die because of lag, and then find out that four helmets dropped. Not that it happened to me or anything.
Maple is a time consuming game and not much else. I do quite enjoy it, but as far as difficulty goes, it doesn't even need to be rated. And as much as I love WoW, it falls under the same scrutiny. WoW only becomes slightly difficult when you're doing raids and instances such as Cara or Zul'Aman, and now, some of the higher 80 instances in Northrend. Fact of the matter is, in WoW, if you attack something that is obviously stronger than you or a higher leveled elite, you deserve to die. Period. And dying by having your face smashed in by the Fel Reaver doesn't constitute hard either. LOLOLOL.And if you want the definition of the word "hard", pop in F-Zero GX and try beating everything on the highest difficulty setting. This game redefined "hard". >_>

And this isn't WoW >_>
Someone can leech all they want all day long, and learn how to play any class in Maple in 5 minutes. That is NOT the case in WoW. That's the trouble that veteran players on WoW servers are having. This "invite a friend" thing on WoW grants a free Zevra Mount and 300% EXP until you hit level SIXTY! Everyone wants to get to a high level so they can get tier 6 gear and a bunch of epics. But what is REALLY happening? In instances, you need DPS, Tanks, and Healers, and each one of these jobs presents it's own trials. If you level 1-60 in a week and expect to tank a mid-level instance when you don't even KNOW how to tank, that's a big problem, because when the tank sucks, everyone else dies. And the same goes with Healers and DPS. If you don't know how to do your job because you barrelled your way to 60 in a week with cheap EXP, you can't really expect anyone to show you. 1-60 is when you're supposed to be learning to play your class and if you're leveling 3 times a day, you end up skipping most of Azeroth to begin with, which is stupid because that's where you're supposed to be learning to handle your character. I know what it's like, because I got 1-60 in two weeks with this 300% EXP thing. But along the way, I stopped in places that we skipped to learn the game and looked at guides so I didn't fall behind on my Paladin. Maple Story doesn't have NEAR the spells or skills that a single player in WoW has. My Paladin has twice the skills of all the mage classes put together in Maple Story. I have THREE hotbars FULL of spells, and each hotbar holds about 14 spells. Of course, it's not so much anymore since I respecced to full Retribution, but it's still more than any class in Maple. Am I saying WoW is hard? Nope, 'cause it's really not. What I am saying is that it does require more "skill" to "handle" a single class in WoW than it does to handle all the classes in Maple.
Fact is, there is not a class on Maple that is "hard" to handle. I just don't believe it. >_>
