The best part about the episode was the references.

Spoiler

All the characters were amazing, but Clara... she was absolutely fantastic. I have to agree that the actual plot of the episode wasn't that good, but that may be because the plot was the weakest part of the episode. The transition to the second half of the series and characters were perfect. I'm excited to see what happens next.
