You can actually make him left handed, since he has the hands for holding a shield and sword for both hands. The thing is, though, the strap on his body can't be switched around, so it'd look funny. xd
(Also the fact that Skyward Sword Link was always right handed.)
I wanted this thing for the sake of playing with it and to have it on display. I never buy anything with the intention to resell later. I've never really been interested in doing so. Entertainment value is worth more than money, to me.
pineapple skyward sword link (and wii version of twilight princess) only reason he's right handed is because "ooh, most people are right handed so we'll switch link to make it easier for people, left handed people won't have any issue with it though (which is true) so why couldn't you leave link left-handed FFFF-
