Question Wrote:Mage + warrior..... idk man that thing well cause huge problem to dmg problem...
1 they had battlemage .... which is very close to mage and warrior idea
2. if mage and a warrior combine... what is their main attack base on?
MAGIC ATTACK ?
or
WEAPON ATTACK?
they get boost from both?..... and what type attack he would be using when attacking at bossing using
super def up? or super magic def up? he cant hit bossing at all? cuz he both magic and physical...
but then again .... i notice all the wand and staff has both weapon and magic attack..... isnt it odd?
Str mage was a big joke a long time ago because magicians can equip a few low level one handed maces. It was essentially the equivalent of a permabeginner.
And I'm absolutely hoping they're treating this as a beta for a universal multiple main-stat system. So, for example, a magician would get as much damage out of boosting int as he would luk. But you would get something like accuracy from int and avoid from luk. Right now there's pretty much no reason to put any points into your secondary stat, so the game's stat system is pretty much pointless, at least at level up. Making other stats worth while actually introduces interesting choices which makes it an actual game.
