I've recently come back to Maple after quitting around when potentials and Big Bang were released, and my equips are probably very out-dated (I tried soloing Hilla, and nearly ran out of time- took 29 minutes and 30 seconds). Any suggestions on how to upgrade and how much the current equips are? Thanks!

I should still have, in addition, 3-4b of mesos and items lying around as well for the upgrade. Advice please!

Also, what monsters drop Advanced Final Attack 20 and 30? Seems important to put SP in >.<

First off, welcome back! Great to see old players back.

Your equips seem fair still, not THAT outdated..

Rings - Evolving Rings I lv 17, Ring II lv 17, Ring III, lv 10. Pretty standard rings and works for any class. There are rings which can have potential, however, they tend to be very expensive. You could get a Tempest Ring from Tempest Shop currently which has potential, but untradable when equipped.

Earrings - Since DEX is no longer required for Warriors, you should replace these with % STR ones. 6% STR earrings I've seen for around 20-30m. 9% ones I believe are just under 100m, haven't looked at Scanian market for quite a while.

Pendant - MoC? Unless you meant MoN? MoN is still the best pendant around generally, unless you can get a 6%+ potential HTP/CHTP/Rising Sun. Dominator Pendant would be the best, but as usual, very expensive.

Shoulder - Tempest Epaulet, get this from Tempest Shop, currently the best shoulder pad you can get due to it having potentials. Later on, we'll get Empress shoulder pads, but they're quite expensive to my knowledge from KMS.

Helmet - I would upgrade to a CZak Helm or Empress Helm.

Many have switched over to Empress Equipment, however, looking at your current equips, you're better off sticking with them unless you plan to scroll and cube or buy already made ones.

Codex - Try to get Leafre set for Codex. It gives +1 all skills and 30% defense ignore. With maxed Combat Mastery, that brings you up to 80% defense ignore, which does help, especially when it comes to bosses.

Advanced Final Attack - Monsters no longer drop specific mastery books ever since Chaos(the revamp after Big Bang), they only drop Mystery Mastery Books which gives you a random book of any job when you open it. You'll probably have to buy AFA in FM (25-40m currently I think?), or better yet, buy a Special Mystery Mastery Book(this one lets you pick which book to get, it raises mastery cap from 10 to 30 at 100% chance) from event shops. I'm not sure if the current one in Tempest Shop works or not, apparently it doesn't work for Luminous characters I hear.
