A laser mouse will give you the ability to move faster and be more accurate compared to a ball mouse? Pretty sure I'm right.
A 120hz monitor will give you the ability to see fast moving objects more clear? Pretty sure I nailed that one too.

After a certain benchmark, usually reached around the 800 - 900 dollar mark, it's all about comfortableness. I play better with my 10 dollar mouse than I would with a 70 dollar mouse I bought simply because I'm used to it.
