Outlaw
Pros:
- Damage rises drastically over the rather pitiful first and second job (surprising people who think Outlaws are weak), and rather quickly: most skills are maxed at level 20 instead of 30, and become powerful linearly, instead of slowing down at higher levels (Burst Fire is +5% damage per hit per point, and doesn't slow down to 2 or 3% at higher levels of BF)
- My single-target damage is ridiculous. Burst Fire matches, if not exceeds, skills like Strafe and L7+SP, plus I've got Octopi and stuff.
- Above average mobility
- Large variety of active skills that have unique uses that complement each other
- Wings is fun as hell
Cons:
- Low HP, though higher than archers and thieves
- Mobbing capacity is pretty low
- Lack of close range combat skills, save Fake Shot, Ice Splitter, and Flamethrower, none of which are good at taking down single targets. Recoil helps and has no minimum range but it's got an annoying cooldown.
