NexonAM has to fulfill what corporate wants so ultimately all the problems we face is because of Nexon Korea. According to that guy's testimony, he believes NexonAM legitimately cares about their players (which I agree with) but they are, in general, powerless and must answer to Korea.
Like someone else mentioned, Korea's problems are answered quickly and thoughtfully because there's no middleman to go through. The devs exist there (for the most part) and customer service can answer promptly from the same building the game was made.
Also gotta say what the exGM said: "different countries, different problems".
