I wasn't experiencing any lag at all yesterday, and it isn't internet lag.
edit: Seems like I'm spiking every time I kill 3+ mobs at once. The more mobs, the worse the spike is. Pretty annoying.
Running no other programs except iTunes and that's never caused anything like this in the past. It has to be this patch.
In addition, teleporting on any mage feels as if I'm teleporting using a Luminous with that annoying hitch at the end, without free invincibility. Or similarly, the slight delay using teleport feels as if I had TM on during PvP where it processes automatically causing a hitch.
