I just beat Symphony of the Night. That ended a lot more abruptly than I expected.
I got my ass whooped against the final boss, because I thought I found him on accident. Then I went and beat up the boss from the Catacombs and found some sword that deals extra damage to holy targets. The final boss was a joke after that. @_@ I felt like I cheated.
I didn't 100% everything, though. 85.3% completion, says the file select screen. Any maps I didn't explore were full of spikes and I didn't know how to get past them. I used bat form in the one map, but there was a blue door I couldn't get past. Transforming back into humanoid form would kill me. There was another room in the Catacombs full of spikes that I couldn't get past, because I couldn't see. I don't know how to light up the room. It was a guessing game full of death.
