Maker - Alchemy Skill FAQ and Walkthrough

Alright, I'm way too lazy to look through this whole thread for an answer I probably won't find, so here's a quick question to you, Isaac.

Apparently, Item Maker doesn't work with common items, so would this make things like Sauna Robes or common top+bottom statgivers less practical? Could Item Maker really create class-specific equipment that would "out-stat" something like a 15 stat top + 15 stat bottom combination?

well, Saunas and bath robes will still have their place (you can't make any equips below 50, so you could use a bathrobe from 20-50.) but yes, it should be pretty easy for most classes to beat out the average Sauna.
