What's your type? The majority of people don't even know...

To be honest, the fact that most people don't know their own blood type scares me a little. Isn't that something you SHOULD know about yourself?

I don't know my own blood type... unfortunately, my parent's don't know either, and when we tried to ask the doctor, he said we had to pay extra for blood typing. Then I told him that I were born in the local hospital and asked him to check my birth records and I haven't heard any news since.

However, I know that I'm either O or B, dunno + or -.
It really doesn't matter though. If I really needed a transfusion, I'll just get O- blood and that pretty much guarantees that I won't die.
