Sadly it's not even just equipment. Every month a new class and some random old class are now the "sht" while everyone else is left to bake in the heat. The game is just continual remakes.
Honestly this patch series is a huge point in everyone's maple life. Are we going to keep taking this sht, or are we done? I'm very heavily leaning on done. They have not improved the game in at least a year, probably two, and instead opt to give us more crap that will cost us more money and then invalidate said spending with even more crap that's better than the previous crap. Now with this change to bosses, I'm very close to the invisible line of "How much bullsht can I take?"
