Chaos;Head 8 & 9: I don't know if it's just because I played the VN, but this is pathetic. The art is terrible, especially Ban, Ayase, and Yua. Also, they sound like they're just monotonically saying their lines one after the other. There's no time for suspense nor emotion. I felt like episode 8 was almost some sort of appeal to action fans that are used to "kewl" fighting scenes. It wasn't that terribly done (with the exception of somehow trying to fit Kozue's backstory into it), but that completely misses the point/genre of the story. They should've used the episode to let the characters develop more instead of rushing everything. By the way, is Taku's Gero-frog the wrong color? I don't remember ever seeing a blue gero frog.
Kannagi 9: ...and it gets better and better. I was confused about the crying scene though. She was talking about middle school and suddenly flashed back to a kindergarten/lower-elementary memory.
Toradora 10: I liked it. It wasn't as funny as some of the others but there's some nice plot development here. However, I wonder if it'll stay strong enough if it gets another 12 episodes.
How many episodes are in Kannagi and Toradora anyway?
