I'm 99.9% sure anything relevant to the Nisrock will be wiped when you upgrade it to a Shiner. After all, what the NPC is doing is taking away your Nisrock and giving you a Shiner. Not convinced? Imagine that the NPC is actually a player who wants your scrolled/name-tagged Nisrock for some reason in exchange for a Shiner.
