freedom of speech doesnt give you the right to freely insult people and think they shouldnt get offended.

Freedom of speech gives you the right to both. You're entitled to make fun of others and you're entitled to feel offended.
Those feelings are justified, but they aren't a justification to censor, kill, destroy or terrorize.
