What do you mean by "Do a system restore." Will that remove the virus? I will likely do one tomorrow anyway because my screen now gets frozen when I boot normally, but it would be nice if there was such an easy way.

I'm considering Formating but that really will be my last resort. Redownloading stuff and backing up my documents and songs will be almost too big a hassle, though I'm starting to think fighting Virtumonde is just as troublesome.
