I'm scared of Riven =(.

I love how I can use it on Garen now though.

Jesus, it's like they want Riven to be pick or ban status. She can apply all the armor reduction stacks so quickly with QWQ(autoattack)Q then ult for stupid damage. I like how it's 5% armor reduction though instead of a flat shred.

Xypherous has said repeatedly that Riven was bad design on his part, I'm pretty sure she's being reworked.

New item doesn't seem to be that good for ranged ad, even Ezreal and Graves. Break even point for the new Black Cleaver and the Last Whisper is around 66.66 armor, above which the Last Whisper will deal more damage...which everyone in the game has above at level 18. Should only be used by AD casters that can deal a lot of hits to many opponents around them, and who has a lot of ad on their team to take advantage of that fact. So...probably Garen, Riven, Pantheon. I might consider it on Corki since he already shreds through armor.

I guess I should take in account the new masteries and runes and such giving free armor penetration. I'll top it around 80 ish, which is only good for squishies.

the entire point of BCs is for AD casters which want to kill squishies for the most part, see : Talon, Garen

Remember that they're changing all sources of flat pen too, so what we have now is not useful as a measure of how much armour pen you can have.
