They do, but knowing Chinese doesn't substantially help in learning Korean as it does for learning Japanese Kanji. Calligraphy-wise, Japanese is closer to Chinese but phonetically, Japanese and Korean are closer to each other (so many syllabic stresses in Chinese!).
OT: Ex talked to me today about his life. Gave him short responses. Don't want my feelings coming back. Very much wondering if he'll ever bring us up and how to dodge that bullet if he does.
