Oh, Nexon. Your shenanigans knows no bounds.

So, a new game is going into closed beta. This is a tactical MMORPG and it's called Seiken Online. I registered for the closed beta, hoping to see what it's like. Today, I get an e-mail saying I got accept into the closed beta. However, it wasn't me that got into the closed beta. Or at least, I didn't get my acceptance notice. Instead, the attached Nexon ID was someone else's entirely. I look on the teaser site, thinking "maybe they gave us random Nexon IDs for closed beta purposes?" However, seeing as how they're going to give us free items for participating in the closed beta, that didn't seem likely. I look at the Twitter wall attached to the teaser site and it seems I'm not the only one in this situation. Apparently, everyone got someone else's Nexon ID in their e-mail.

I don't know how they managed to screw this up, but they managed to attach the wrong e-mails to the wrong Nexon IDs. I don't even know if I got into the beta myself. This is very bad, because this allows for account hacking. Nexon has not responded about this issue yet, but I am very curious to see their response.
